The Barnes & Noble at NMSU Bookstore & Café in Las Cruces will host three free book readings & signings for the public during the month of January in its 2nd floor northeast Living Room beginning with NMSU Professor Emerita Christine E. Eber and her title, “The Journey of a Tzotzil-Maya Woman of Chiapas, Mexico” at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19. The following Wednesday, Jan. 23, local author Anna Haman will present her work, “Everybody Loved Anna: A German Family’s Story of Confronting Social Normalcy” at 2 p.m. Then, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, RJ Mirabal, a retired, award-winning Los Lunas High School teacher, will read from his fantasy novel, “The Tower of Il Serrohe.”

In addition, the free public Open Mic nights will continue throughout the spring semester from 5-8pm Fridays in the Barnes & Noble Café. Please contact David at to sign up to perform.
