“Two Need to Know Topics – One Seminar”
Brought to you by: The National Contract Management Association (NCMA)
This presentation will focus on two separate, but interrelated, topics that are of increasing importance to government contractors-cybersecurity and subcontracting best practices. With regard to cybersecurity, Mr. Phillip R. Seckman, will explore the recent Department of Defense rules obligating all contractors handling unclassified controlled technical information to implement a host of information security controls. These requirements will apply to all government contractors performing work ultimately procured by DoD, regardless of the contract type or value, the contractor’s size, or nature of the work (i.e., whether it is for commercial or non-commercial items). Second Phil will address the key issues that contractors both primes and subs, should be considering as they negotiate the flow down of standard clauses incorporated in to all federal government procurement contracts.
