14 Borderland agents investigated for corruption

Allegations are surfacing tonight of widespread corruption by federal agents along the Mexico, U.S. Border. According to the Center for Investigative Reporting,144 agents have been investigated or convicted on various corruption charges in just the past couple of years. Of the 144 investigated, 47 of those agents are from Texas or New Mexico and 14 are from the Borderland. Most of the charges are related to truck trafficking, human smuggling, or bribery.
