An apparent house shooting in Denver has left three victims dead, including two children. A third child, who is believed to be in critical condition, was taken to the hospital.
According to Denver police, they responded to a call just before 7am this morning in an industrial section Northeast of the city. Police officials say upon arrival they discovered the victims.
It's believed to be an isolated incident, but investigators are waiting for a warrant to re-enter the home.
Police are not releasing specific details about the shooting but Denver's police chief offered his condolences to the family.
"Four bodies, three of them deceased, one individual was transported to the hospital, obviously this is an ongoing investigation and at this time we're not going to release particulars as it relates to the ages and names of the individuals pending notification of family members. I would ask that we all keep those involved, those family members who are going to be faced with this horrible tragedy in our thoughts." said Denver Police Chief, Robert White.
