Las Cruces, N.M. (KDBC) — Keep your feet clean and let the farm come to you. New Mexico State University hosts 'Agriculture Day' before the Aggies home opener against the University of Minnesota.
Tailgating Saturday starts at 2 p.m. and ends at 6, just before the game starts.
There will be more than 40 booths, including a petting zoo, horseback rides, and lots of New Mexico foods. Kids can even learn about miling cows in the mobile dairy.
"This is our opportunity to bring the ag community together with the university," said New Mexico Secretary of Agriculture, Jeff Witte. "[We can] show what the university and agriculture means to the state of New Mexico and really promote and educate the folks on the impacts".
Agriculture Day is free and game tickets start at about $10. Organizers say come hungry!
