Are you a high school student and want to showcase your artistic skills?

Then you're in luck, the City of El Paso Environmental Services Department is looking for local students and their art teachers to enter a mural contest celebrating El Paso's Earth Day.

Students who are interested must submit a mural artwork design that emphasizes the environment, going green or earth day.

The group with the winning design will paint the artwork on a garbage dumpster provided by the Environmental Services Department.

It will be unveiled April 20 during the city's Earth Day celebration in Downtown El Paso.

The deadline to enter is February 21st.

In addition, the winners will receive a school trophy and will have their mural showcased on the City's website and the City's Cable Channel 15.

There is no fee to enter the contest.
