EL PASO, TEXAS — The University of Texas at El Paso held the Border Economic Forum to address 2013's regional economic outlook.
UTEP, along with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, held the event on the UTEP campus Wednesday.
The forum covered major issues such as real estate, banking, health care and transportation infrastructure.
Tom Fullerton, an Economics professor at UTEP, helped organize the event.
"The Border Economic Forum over the years has always attempted to deal with a lot of those issues and allow people an opportunity to absorb a large amount of information in a very short period of time," said Fullerton.
National, regional, local and cross-border trends are expected to impact business conditions in 2013.
