The defense is expected to open its case today (monday) in the trial against Bradley Manning. He is the army private accused of handing over hundreds of thousands of classified documents to Wikileaks.
Mannings attorneys are hoping to prove he had innocent intentions, but prosecutors, who wrapped their case last week, say Manning put countless lives at risk.
If convicted, Manning faces life in prison for the most serious charge-- aiding the enemy.
