El Paso — The 78 cats that were removed from a Central el paso home earlier this month, might not make it. Animal Service confirms that some of the cats have already died from existing conditions; others have already been euthanized or soon will be.
According to animal services, some of the cats are suffering from upper respiratory infections.
Earlier this month, the cats were removed from the 3800 block of Bliss Avenue after the city was notified of foul odor.
The owner of the home is facing possible charges and 18 citations for lack of vaccines, registration and microchips on six cats. Additional charges are pending.
