Fort Bliss, TX (U.S. Army) — Celebrate Independence Day with Family and MWR and the El Paso Symphony Orchestra! The third annual Pop Goes the Fort celebration is set for Thursday, July 4 at Biggs Park.
Gates open at 5 p.m. and the music begins at 7:30 p.m., with El Paso's only Independence Day laser light show following the performance.
In addition to the musical entertainment, Fort Bliss family readiness groups will be on hand to provide games and crafts for a nominal fee; all money raised will benefit FRG/unit funds.
Guests are welcome to bring picnic baskets and coolers; however, glass containers and outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed. A food truck food court will also be available. There is no ATM at Biggs Park – be sure to bring cash for games, crafts and vendors.
Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Pets are prohibited.
Currently celebrating its 81st season, the El Paso Symphony Orchestra is the oldest performing arts organization in El Paso and the longest continuously running symphony orchestra in the state of Texas.
