City departments relocate to allow for demolition

EL PASO — City departments have packed their things and are already moving out of City Hall to allow for the demolition of the building.

The Parks and Recreation Department has already moved out of City Hall to the Pat O’Rourke Recreation Center located at 901 N. Virginia St.

They will be open for business beginning January 28, 2013.

The Engineering and Construction Management Department will be next .

They will be relocating to the Tillman building at 222 Campbell St. effective February 4, 2013.

Their last day of business at City Hall will be Wednesday, January 30, 2013.

Next up to relocate will be the City Development Department.

Its offices will also be relocating to the Tillman Building, 222 S. Campbell St. effective February 11, 2013.

Last day of business at City Hall will be Wednesday, February 6, 2013.

Additionally,effective Monday, Jan. 28, the Economic Development area will be co-locating with the Downtown Management District in the Chase Building, Suite 107.
