The FDA says a farm linked to the recent outbreak of cyclospora has stopped sending lettuce to the U.S.

Cyclospora is a rare type of parasite that causes intestinal illness.

The FDA says Taylor Farms de Mexico voluntarily stopped shipments to the  U.S. and will not resume them until the FDA gives the go-ahead.

The salad mix from Taylor Farms was linked specifically to cases from Iowa and Nebraska.

The CDC is still investigating whether all of the cases are part of the same outbreak.
