LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Dona Ana Community College has scheduled the official grand opening of its new 66,500-square-foot Student Resources Building at the East Mesa Campus for the end of April.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be Tuesday, April 30th at 10:30 a.m.
The new Student Resources building will offer space for various student services including academic advising, admissions, career services, dual credit, financial aid, registration, counseling and services for students with disabilities, student activities, testing services and veterans programs.
The new building joins DACC's latest completed construction projects in being LEED certified, meaning it meets the standards for the US Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program including sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources and indoor environmental quality.
