El Paso, TX (KDBC) — A BMX track that was vandalized in May is still recovering from the damage.
As Local 4 News first reported, Desert Downs in Northeast El Paso was vandalized, costing the Trans-Mountain Optimist Club, the group behind the track, about $30,000 dollars in damage.
The juveniles responsible for the vandalism have since been caught.
Trans-Mountain Optimist Club hope the teens rethink the actions they make in the further.
The group says any kind of donation or help cleaning up the graffiti is welcomed.
Members of the club provide a helping hand to children and have been helping out in Northeast El Paso for more than 30 years.
If you'd like to become a Trans-Mountain Optimist Member, the club is always looking for volunteers.
