LAS CRUCES, N.M. — The Dona Ana County Board of Commissioners will consider a fireworks ban for the unincorporated parts of the county during a meeting Tuesday morning.
Similar to the City of Las Cruces, commissioners will decide on declaring extreme drought conditions that will allow them to restrict fireworks.
The proclamation would be in effect for 30 days but could be changed if weather conditions improve.
Commissioner's meet at 9 a.m. at the County Government Building on Motel Boulevard.
