EL PASO — A car crash was to blame for thousands being out of power Monday afternoon.
According to El Paso Electric, a crash happened at the intersection of Tim Foster and Charles Foster in Far East El Paso around 12:15 p.m.
A little more than 2,600 customers were left in the dark for about two hours while crews restored power. There were no serious injuries in the crash.
