Season ticket sales for the 2011 New Mexico State volleyball season began Monday, Aug. 1 at 10am with a variety of ways to order the set of your liking to enjoy fourteen home matches and a tournament hosted by the Aggies.
NM State opens the season with a MCM Elegante Lobo Classic in Albuquerque Aug. 26-27 before playing its first home match, Sunday, Aug. 28 against Nicholls State. The Aggies then host a tournament at the Pan American Center, Sept. 2-3, featuring Grambling, LSU and Arkansas-Little Rock.
"Its great we're back up to 14 home matches," Jordan said. "We've also got five non-conference matches against teams that were in the NCAA tournament last year and four of those are here at home. We're looking forward to the season. "
The Aggies face 2010 NCAA Tournament participants New Mexico, Utah State, Hawaii and Colorado State in the Pan American Center this season with NM State taking on the Lobos Oct. 4 and Colorado State after the WAC Tournament, Nov. 26. UNM and CSU were two of the top teams coming out of the Mountain West Conference.
Season tickets can be purchased by mailing in the official order form, or by calling the Pan American Center ticket office at (575) 646-1420. Reserved seating can be purchased for $79, general admission for $49, while NM State faculty and staff as well as seniors and members of the military can buy season tickets for $44.
General admission for a single match costs $6, while reserved seating is $6. Children 12 and under can enter the matches free of charge.
