El Paso (KDBC) — Two businesses in El Paso will close their doors.
United Blood Systems Inc., will close on April 11. The call center in Tempe, AZ will be expanding their facility and taking over operations.
About 100 full and part-time will be laid off as a result of the closure.
There was a job fair for these employees in which seven employers participated.
The Hoover Manufacturing Plant is also scheduled to close at the end of this month. More than 200 workers will be laid off. Employees have attended orientation meetings where they were able to learn about their options.
