EL PASO — El Pasoans may soon have better access to health care. University Medical Center wants to build several new outpatient clinics in West, East, Central, and Northeast El Paso. The hospital wants to pay for the 50,000 square foot facilities by selling $162 million in bonds. If approved by Commissioners Court, property taxes would go up about $20 dollars a year for a $100,000 home. Commissioners have 30 days to approve or deny the bonds.
