EPPD: Man who walked away from facility is located

UPDATE:

According to El Paso Police, Arturo Trillo, 74, was found Tuesday evening, 7:30pm. Officials say he was found in the 600 block of Paisano in good condition.

A citizen in the area recognized him and notified police.

Mr. Trillo was returned to the care of his guardian.

ORIGINAL:

The El Paso Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons (CAP) unit is asking the community’s assistance in locating 74-year old Arturo Trillo. He has been missing since Monday afternoon. Arturo Trillo was found missing from Mountain View Healthcare before 3 p.m.. Investigators believe that Mr. Trillo walked out of the facility and failed to return as of Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m.

Mr. Trillo has been diagnosed with dementia disease. Crime Against Persons (CAP) investigators are requesting a Local Silver Alert be issued for Mr. Trillo due to his medical history. Trillo is 5’2”, weighs about 110lbs, has a thin build, short gray hair, brown eyes and light complexion. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, tan cargo pants and white tennis shoes.
