EPPD seeking information on man missing since 2011

Detectives with the El Paso Police Department's Crimes Against Persons Unit is asking for the public's help in finding a man who has been missing for almost three years.

The last time friends or family saw 23-year-old Jason Richard Macias was the morning of Tuesday, August 30th, 2011. Macias' family reported him missing three days later on September 2, 2011.

During their investigation into Macias' disappearance, detectives learned that Macias' left his cell phone and his vehicle parked at his apartment, The Sun Hollow Apartments located at 1601 N. Lee Trevino. Detectives learned that Macias had gone to Chihuahua Mexico a month before he disappeared.

Macias was last seen wearing a black dress shirt and blue jeans. Anyone who may have information about Macias' disappearance or current whereabouts are encouraged to contact the El Paso Police Department's Crimes Against Persons Unit at 564-7010 or Police Communications Dispatch at 832-4400.
