El Paso — We've been seeing the price at the pump fluctuate lately. On Wednesday morning we saw a brief drop in price. According to gasbuddy.com, gas prices in El Paso dropped down by 1 cent from $2.96 to $2.95.
Although the price drop is not dramatic, we spoke with El Paso residents who were pleased with the temporary change.
"I think it's great. I think as low as it can get, the better. I have family so I think it would be help every body's economy if it keeps going down," Jaime Palma of West El Paso explained.
Nationally, gas prices have been increasing to an average of $3.25 per gallon. Experts say holiday travel has caused the price at the pump to increase, however, they are expecting the prices to drop down.
Experts add, that gas prices usually go down in the Winter season because of cheaper costing production costs as well as fewer drivers hitting the roads.
