Many people think smoking an occasional marijuana joint is okay but a new study suggests otherwise.

Researchers enrolled 40 college students in the trial. Twenty smoked marijuana at least once a week, and the others not at all.

After 90 days, they found the more joints smoked, the greater the abnormalities in the areas of the brain that process emotions, motivation and reward.
