El Paso, TX (KDBC) — El Pasoans and people across the country will be wearing orange to help raise awareness of the more than 50 million people in the U.S. who go hungry.
Starting Thursday, September 5, the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank will kick off Hunger Action month by asking supporters to proudly wear orange.
They'll host several events throughout the area to inspire people to take action.
They will also have fundraisers to make sure that people in the El Paso area do not go hungry.
The organization is encouraging everyone to change your Facebook and Twitter profile pictures orange for the month of September.
