Homeless man facing burglary charges was 'trying to stay warm'

A homeless man broke in to Henderson Middle school overnight to keep warm, according to El Paso Independent School District Police.

Police Chief Araiza said the man, believed to be in his early thirties broke in by breaking a window with his fist early Thursday morning.

He was found wearing several jackets inside the school with injuries. Police have not been able to identify him, but plan to charge him with burglary of a school.
