Washington (CNN) — A House Committee will look into whether the IRS was targeting conservative groups.
The House Committee will hold a hearing on Friday.
An IRS watchdog is set to release documents that show the agency zeroed in on Tea Party Organizations and other conservative groups.
President Obama said Monday that if the accusations are true, he will hold the IRS accountable.
"If in fact IRS personnel engaged in the kind of practices that have been reported on and were intentionally targeting conservative groups, then that's outrageous. And there's no place for it," Obama told reporters.
