Hundreds of pet owners gathered at the 24th annual K-9 Classic "walk for animals" event that took place at Album Park in East El Paso on Sunday.

It was organized by the Humane Society of El Paso. More than 300 dogs registered for the event that started at 10am and ended at 2pm.

The event unleashed some fun for pet owners and their dogs.

There was a one mile fun walk around the park and several competitions between dogs including largest dog, cutest dog, best dressed and ugliest dog.

There was also several vendors, food and music.

The event was hosted by our very own Noreen Jaramillo and Mark Mathis.

All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of El Paso, which promotes responsible pet adoptions.
