A group of athletes introduces parkour to El Paso one flip and twist at a time. The first ever Jam El Paso parkour and freerunning event took place Sunday at the DC skate plaza in Sunland Park, New Mexico.

The group showcased their athleticism in what is referred to as parkour -- which is defined as moving from Point A to Point B in the fastest most efficient way possible. As well as freerunning tricks, "Freerunning is navigating through an environment in a creative way with like flips and twists and with flair and all that stuff,” George Shunia, a Freerunner said.

The group's hopes to make this an annual event.
