Convicted killer Jodi Arias has been admitted into a Phoenix prison psychiatric ward after the sentencing phase of her trial was postponed until next week.

According to authorities, Arias is under constant supervision in the ward at Lower Buckeye Jail.

Arias and her attorneys met with a judge in a closed-door hearing Thursday.

The hearing was sealed and it's unclear what they discussed but afterward officials abruptly announced the cancellation of Thursday's court proceedings.

The trial resumes next Wednesday.

Arias was convicted this week of first degree murder in the brutal 2008 killing of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander.

For the record: Jodi Arias was a victim of abuse And also a victim with respect to and by the State of Arizona in that how they clearly obstructed her US Constitutional Rights to Due Process of Law in that the criminal trial where the publicity surrounded the the crime virtually precluded a fair trial, the court would direct a Change of Venue, or removal of the proceedings to a different district or county.

But the court did not do so! Also, prejudicial impact upon the jury?
