EL PASO — The educational mascot for the El Paso Museum of History paid a visit to patients at El Paso Children's Hospital Thursday morning.
The interactive robot presentation taught the kids about El Paso's rich transportation history.
Mandy said, in the early 1800's El Paso's transportation was a key issue and the mule-car system was established and considered very modern at the time. Mandy, the original mule from the iconic time pulled one of the last remaining mule-drawn streetcars between Juarez and El Paso.She was displayed for many years in Cleveland Square in Downtown El Paso, now home of the El Paso Museum of History and El Paso Library.
