EAST EL PASO — A new store has opened up in the borderland. It's called Bake Me Happy and its doors are open in East El Paso. The shop has a chic look with what the owner describes as a whimsical Willy Wonka -type feel to it.
The cupcakes are baked fresh everyday and are dressed to impress with their own unique personality.
There are a variety of flavors.
"I wanted to put a shop together that would make people happy when they came in, I wanted to get all their senses,” said owner Roseal Greenwood. “Their visual, their scents, smell, their tastes everything all in one because I just think there is nothing happier than treats cupcakes, cookies candies, cakes, everything like tat so it was really important for me that I did the whole entire thing so it is an experience in one."
Greenwood can also personalize her sweets to match invitations and party themes.
If you would like to visit the shop, stop by at the intersection of Montwood and Lomaland in the shopping center.
