Albuquerque, NM (KDBC) — Spring hasn't even arrived yet, but it appears another wildfire season has already begun in New Mexico.
Crews are battling several wildfires in the state, among them a fire on New Mexico's Isleta Pueblo in Bernalillo County. It's unknown how many acres have burned.
Meanwhile, another small wildfire is burning in Valencia County, just off of Highway 314 and Interstate 25 in Belen. That's about 35 miles south of Albuquerque.
The fire is now out, but resulted in limited visibility early Monday because of the smoke hovering over Interstate 25. The fire did burn at least one building.
