LAS CRUCES — New Mexico State University will get a private medical school.
Governor Susana Martinez will make the announcement Monday.
According to PBS, the medical school's president Dr. Garrey Carruthers announced NMSU and the Arrowhead Center will partner to form the new Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine.
The new school is expected to cost nealry $85 million dollars.
Dan Burrell, principal at the Burrell Family Offices, will be the chairman.
