NRA announces recommendations for gun violence prevention

The National Rifle Association is set to announce its recommendations for preventing gun violence at schools Tuesday.

The N-R-A first announced the National School Shield Program in December in response to the Newtown, Connecticut school massacre.

A website pledged to report back with a set of school safety proposals.

C-N-N has learned the report will include training recommendations to prepare armed guards at schools and legislative proposals for Congress
