Valley View Elementary School has a new Wall of Hope. The wall, not far from its front door was painted by parents. The group was guided by art teacher Amanda Clattenburg, who created the foundation for the work.

Parents painted positive slogans and compassionate ideas like “We do respect;” “We are family;” “We do praise;” “We do dreams;” “We do laughter;” “We do thank yous” and more.

“It was an idea taken from Pinterest and submitted by Gail Estrada, our assistant principal,” said Valley View Elementary Principal Sharon Robinson. “Each line was individually created by the person painting it,” she said.
