A 19-year-old man is fighting for his life after a motorcycle accident in Northeast El Paso early Monday morning.

The wreck happened just after 2 a.m. Monday near Railroad and Falcon. We're told the 19-year-old driver was traveling north on Railroad when he lost control of his 2003 Kawasaki motorcycle and was thrown from it.

The driver was transported to University Medical Center, where he is still listed in critical condition at this hour.

El Paso Police blocked the area off as they investigated. Special Traffic Investigators were also called out to the scene to investigate. Investigators believe that speed is a factor in the crash, the 19-year-old driver has not been identified by police.
