From preparing the nursery to endless doctor appointments pregnancy can be a trying time. Adding to that stress, it could make a woman more likely to be involved in car accidents. That's according to a new study by the Canadian Medical Association Journal.

Doctors analyzed more than 500-thousand expectant mothers. They were tracked over the course of six years and found to be 42-percent more likely to be involved in a serious car crash while pregnant.

Second trimester accidents were most common.
