EL PASO (KDBC) — Riverside High School choir will get to share the stage with rock back foreigner when they perform in El Paso next week.
The ranger choir won a contest to be backup singers with the band in an online voting competition with Montwood, Franklin High School and Loretto Academy.
They'll be singing the group's classic number one hit “I want to know what love is” some of the students said it's the chance of a lifetime and an experience they'll never forget.
"I’ve never been to a concert before and Foreigner is a really cool band and I really like them so, I think the overall experience of just being there, the ambiance, the atmosphere, it's gonna be awesome." Riverside Choir President Demi Willis said.
Foreigner is donating 500 dollars to the school's choir program. The high school choir also made a cd singing foreigners greatest hits, they'll be selling it at the show to raise money for the Grammy Foundation which helps fund high school music programs.
