Silver Fire grows 10,000 acres overnight

The Silver Fire has grown to 125 square miles and is expected to keep expanding.

The fire has charred more than 81,000 acres, expanding 10,000 acres overnight and remains at 20% contained.

Fire personnel say a red flag warning was in place late Monday night for hot, dry, and windy conditions.

Lighting started the blaze June 7th. There are currently no evacuations in effect.

Silver Fire information meetings are held at 10 a.m. daily at the Hillsboro Community Center.

Please make sure that Nikole sees this, she reported last night that
the fire was up to 25,000 square miles, now that would be a big fire.... Lol
