Fort Bliss is confirming three Fort Bliss Soldiers died in Afghanistan.
The names of 13 soldiers killed in action in Afghanistan were added to the Field of Honor Memorial at Fort Bliss. It's a monument at Fort Bliss to soldiers killed overseas since 9/11.

On this day, 13 new names were added.

"We appreciate the service and sacrfice of our soldiers but also of our families," said Major General Dana Pittard.
