Soldiers, families and friends of the 11th Air Defense Artillery, "Imperial" Brigade helped welcome their loved ones from their nine month deployment to Southwest Asia on Monday where they have been providing missile defense capabilities to the region with the Patriot weapon system.

As soon as the soldiers got off the place, they were greeted by cheering family and friends.

"It feels great to be back with our families but most importantly it feels great to be back with our soldiers again that took care of our families back here" said Col. Clement S. Coward, 11th Air Defense Artillery Brigade Commander.

Not only did the 11th ADA Brigade provide missile defense to their area of operations 24/7, they also improved the relationship with the host nations, other defended assets in the region and coalition forces.
