Washington, DC — The U.S. Secret Service says it has intercepted a letter addressed to President Obama that contained a suspicious substance.
The letter arrived Tuesday and was processed at a facility away from the White House. Authorities say the letter was similar to an envelope addressed to Mississippi Senator Roger Wicker that initially tested positive for the deadly poison ricin.
That letter sent to Senator Wicker earlier this week, was intercepted at the U.S. Capitol's off-site mail facility.
