Tax center opens to help military personnel file tax returns

Fort Bliss officials are hosting a grand opening ceremony for the Fort Bliss Tax Center on Tuesday, January 22nd. Volunteers will prepare free federal and state tax returns in two locations, Building 2910 on Cassidy Road and in Building AR403 on Sergeant Major Blvd.
Both locations will accept walk-ins in the mornings and scheduled appointments in the afternoons.
The tax centers will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and training holidays. The services are for all active-duty, activated reservists, military retirees and military family members. To make an appointment at Bldg. 2910, call 568-6737 or call 744-9003 to schedule an appointment at AR403.
