Tensions are still high in Egypt as protesters continue to take to the streets by the thousands. Security has been tightened in Cairo, on this anniversary of the start of Egypt's 1973 war with Israel.

To mark the day, opponents of ousted President Mohamed Morsy are promising a protest "against terrorism".

Supporters of Morsy and the Muslim Brotherhood demonstrated in the Nasr city district of Cairo.
