(KBMT) — Three people were electrocuted in an industrial accident in Hardin County Wednesday morning, according to officials.
Hardin County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Chief Deputy Kenny Davenport told 12News that three contract workers were moving a scaffolding shortly after 8 a.m. at Stream Line Well Testing located at 13604 Highway 69 N near Village Mills. The scaffolding touched a power line and the workers received a severe shock. All three died from their injuries.
The names of the victims and the name of the company where they were employed have not been released. Some family members of some of the victims have arrived on scene. Officials say they will release the victim's names once family members of all victims have been notified.
Investigators with the Hardin County Sheriff's Office and the Kountze fire department are on scene.
