Traffic Ticket Warrant Round Up

Thursday, November 15, 2012 - 11:24pm

You had a chance to take care of them and now the El Paso County Sheriff's Office is taking people who have traffic warrants into custody.
In September, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office and the El Paso County Constables Office put out a list of people who had warrants mostly for moving violations.

They hoped people with some of the 45,000 warrants would come in and pay their fines.  They even waived the $200 fee for failure to appear.  But the amnesty period is up and Deputies and Constables are knocking on doors, looking for those people with warrants.

On Thursday, they booked at total of 21 people.
