Jamie Dick, born in El Paso and a veteran of the Nascar Truck Series circuit, who raced in three Nationwide Series races last season, was in El Paso today to help celebrate his family's opening of the new showroom at Viva Chevrolet. Jamie plans on 14 Natiowide Series races this year, starting with the Phoenix race this Saturday.
"It's great, I would love to race every single weekend, but it's not in the cards, but it's still great to get in 14 races, get the rhythm going, prove the car and prove my skills, and we should be pretty good by the end of the year. The whole VIVA auto group supports our racing, and it's great to come out and show our support back."
Today, Jimmy Dick, President of the Viva Auto Group, along with his wife Cindy and their youngest daughter Mary Katherine, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and start the celebration of the Grand Opening of this brand new state of the art facility.
The Viva Chevrolet building at 5915 Montana was originally built in the early 1960’s. It has remained a Chevy dealership through out all these years and has been under the ownership of the Dick family since 1985. Customer satisfaction has always been the number one priority for Viva Chevrolet, and at this new facility Sales, Service and Parts Departments were all built with that in mind. Meticulous attention to detail that defines the Viva Auto Group way of doing business.
The new building features a huge, open, 8 car showroom, eight flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, a coffee area, multiple customer lounges including a children’s play area and marble tile throughout. Our service department hosts 38 service bays making it one of the largest service centers in El Paso! More service bays equals less time away from your car when it needs to be serviced!
"It's going to be really nice, we’re very excited about the grand opening of what really will be the premiere auto facility in the southwest " said Patrick Brown, general manager of Viva Chevrolet.
