EL PASO, TX — On Sunday many early birds laced up their running shoes to support people in our armed forces. The 2nd Annual Wounded Warrior Project came to El Paso this weekend. All the proceeds from the race go back to people who've been hurt in combat. Local 4 News spoke to the man behind the race, Jimi Eartyka, he tells us although he's active duty he's never been wounded and this race is his way of giving back to the men and women on the front lines. If you missed the race this year don't worry, the Wounded Warrior Project will be back next year at this same time, the third weekend of November.
