EL PASO — A woman was hit by a car in northeast El Paso and police said the driver didn't stop.
The 52-year-old was crossing Dyer Street and Polk on November 20 when police said the car hit her.
They said the woman was not in a crosswalk and she suffered serious injuries.
Police were looking for the driver and the car which was described as a gray or silver Dodge Intrepid possibly with Chihuahua license plates.
"This vehicle also had a very distinctive feature which was a different colored left front quarter panel or fender. The fender of the vehicle was a different color," said Javier Sambrano with Crime Stoppers of El Paso.
The driver was described as an Hispanic male possibly in his 50's.
