DOWNTOWN EL PASO — Would you like a little bit easier time parking in Downtown El Paso? City Council is working on it.
The City Manager now has the job of researching all Downtown streets to find space for as many as 2,000 new parking spots, which would be angled diagonally to fit more cars per block.
Council okayed Rep. Courtney Niland's idea today by asking for the study.
The proposal doesn't specify whether the new parking spaces would still make you carry a roll of quarters with you.
